Terms of sale

1. Who we are

Vinyl Buyback is run by Chris Faulkes, trading as WholeLottaVinyl, 33 Lichfield Lane, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, NG18 4RB. Contact: chris@wholelottavinyl.co.uk.

2. Offers

The offer shown for each record is our offer to buy that record, subject to it arriving within 14 days of your order and passing our condition check. Offers are not binding until we've inspected the records.

3. Who can sell

You must be 18 or over, live in the UK, and own the records you send or have the owner's permission to sell them.

4. Postage

For basket offers over £50 we email you a prepaid postage label. For basket offers of £50 or under, you pay to post your records to us. Records are your responsibility until they reach us, so please use a tracked service and pack them securely.

5. Condition check

We inspect each record on arrival. If a record fails the check, we'll explain why and offer you a reduced price. You choose whether to accept the reduced price or have the record posted back to you at our cost. Missing records are not paid for.

6. Different items

If an item doesn't match the record listed on your order (for example a different pressing), we'll contact you with a revised offer. You can accept it or have the item returned.

7. Payment

We pay for accepted records by PayPal or bank transfer within 5 working days of inspection. We'll email you to confirm what was accepted and the amount paid.

8. Ownership

Ownership of accepted records passes to us once we've paid you.

9. Unclaimed items

If we can't return a rejected record (for example because the address is wrong) and you don't respond to our emails within 60 days, we may recycle or dispose of it.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
