How do you work out the offer?
We identify the exact release from the barcode or catalogue number, then offer a share of its typical Discogs selling price, adjusted for demand and how many copies we already have. Instant offers go up to £5 per record. If we can't find market data for a record, we'll price it when it arrives instead of guessing.
Why are some records "priced in person on arrival"?
Higher-value records are valued by hand when they arrive, because condition makes a big difference to what they're worth. We'll email you our offer once we've checked them.
Do you turn any records down?
No. You can send every record. Most get an instant offer, and any we can't price online are priced when they arrive. If a record isn't in good enough condition when it arrives, we'll explain why and you choose: we send it back, or you accept a reduced price.
Who pays for postage?
If your basket offer is over £50, we email you a free prepaid postage label. For baskets of £50 or under, you post your records to us at your own cost. Only records with an instant offer count towards the £50; records priced on arrival don't. We recommend a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage.
How do you check condition?
We inspect each record and sleeve when it arrives. As a guide, we're looking for records that play through without skips or heavy noise, with no cracks or warps that affect play, in their sleeve.
What if a record isn't in good enough condition?
We'll email you to explain what's wrong with it (for example skips, heavy noise, a warp or sleeve damage) and offer a reduced price. You choose: accept the reduced price, or we post the record back to you at our cost. We won't pay a reduced price without your agreement. See our grading guide for how we grade.
What if a record doesn't pass the check?
We post records that don't pass back to you, using the address on your order.
When do I get paid?
We aim to pay within 5 working days of inspecting your records, by PayPal or bank transfer.
What if the record I send is a different pressing?
If what arrives doesn't match the record you added, we'll contact you with the offer for the record we received, and you can accept it or have it posted back.
How long is my offer valid?
Please send your records within 14 days of submitting your order.

Do you buy CDs or cassettes?
No, we only buy vinyl records.
